IMPRESSION COMPONENTS
The B. & B. Dental range includes impression components for carrying out either the closed tray technique or the open tray technique
Closed Tray Technique
This procedure involves taking an impression with a standard impression tray with two different transfers that are included in the same analog, Ref. INN-00585.
Pull-off transfer guarantees quick and easy and impression taking for each patient. It is intended for single use and made from plastic. Once the impression tray is removed, pull-off transfer remains inside the solid elastomeric impression material.
Facility transfer ensures optimal fit and precise impression taking for cases of significant disparallelism. It comprises 3 elements: metal transfer, prosthetic screw, and plastic cap.
Once the impression tray is removed, only the plastic cap remains inside the solid elastomeric impression material. The metal transfer must then be taken out and attached to the analog by the technician using the prosthetic screw. Finally, it must be correctly repositioned inside the impression model.
Pull Off Transfers
- Product made of plastic and single use only
- Each Pack contains 3 pieces. (Ref INN-00306)
- It provides an impression taking that is easy and fast for each patient
- The transfer has to be used in combination with the analog (Ref INN-00585) for completing the impression
Facility Transfer
It is packaged in 3 pieces. It ensures optimal fit and precise impression taking in cases of large dis-parallelism.
Each package contains:
- 1 Plastic Cap, 1 Screw and 1 Metal Transfer.
- Each package of plastic cap contains 2 pieces.
- The transfer has to be combined with analog INN-00585.
Pick-Up Transfer
- The pick up transfer ensures an optimal fit and a precise impression taking for every patient
- The package contains: 1 pick-up transfer and 1 short pick up screw
- It is available even with long pick up screw
- The transfer to be combined with Analog INN-00585
Open Tray Technique
This procedure involves taking an impression with a customized micro-perforated impression tray. It guarantees optimal fit of the components and precise impression taking, defining the exact intraoral position.
Pick-up transfer comprises 2 elements: short transfer screw, and metal transfer. A long transfer screw is also available, sold separately and individually as required. It is combined with the analog, Ref. INN-00585.
The open tray technique is conducted using a pick-up transfer, which has to be correctly positioned and fixed on the implant. Once the customized impression tray has been prepared, you proceed with impression taking. Only when the material is solid can the screw be loosened and the impression tray removed. The Pick-up transfer remains inside the material and the analog is positioned and fixed using the transfer screw.
